August 1 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am
Class limited to 15
$55 per person, materials included
Ages 10+ (under age 14 must be accompanied by adult registered for class)
Learn how to create a custom-made, functional clay mug or stein using slab building techniques in this beginner level class. Use our extensive collection of textures to create your own tapered mug with a personalized handle. We’ll all follow along the same basic steps, but each mug will be uniquely styled. Choose a color from our house-made dip glazes to finish off your design. Clay washes out, but remember to wear mess-friendly clothes. Centered Earth will dip glaze your mug in your chosen color between firings. Fired pieces will be available for pickup at the DeWire Center on August 11. For those unable to pick up their work, mailing can be arranged.
