In 1975, visionary community members founded Eagles Mere Friends of the Arts to bring music to Eagles Mere and Sullivan County. Over the years we have expanded this vision to make the Friends of the Arts a full service community arts center.
For 10 weeks each summer we bring the community together to enjoy concerts and performances, create art, and share food and ideas at our weekly movie and book discussions. In 2023, approximately 2500 people attended our performances, art classes, film and book discussions last summer.
