Not Your Grandmother’s Tye-Dyeing!
This beginner Shibori dyeing workshop introduces participants to the traditional Japanese art of resist dyeing. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn various folding, twisting, and binding techniques to create intricate patterns on fabric. The workshop covers the basics of preparing the dye, selecting fabrics, and applying the Shibori methods to achieve beautiful, unique designs. Participants will create one-of-a-kind napkins or fabric suited for making a pillow. It’s a fun and creative experience – perfect for anyone interested in exploring textile arts and creating their own custom-dyed pieces.
