Eagles Mere Chamber Players
August 1 @ 8:00 pm

The Eagles Mere Chamber Players are musicians whose connection formed through their involvement in Music in the Mountains, the residential chamber music camp created in 1976 by cellist and Eagles Mere Friends of the Arts co-founder Deborah Reeder and developed with fellow member of the Philadelphia Trio, Barbara Sonies. Music in the Mountains ran in Eagles Mere for more than 30 summers.
When the program transitioned away from a teaching camp, members of the Eagles Mere Chamber Players were honored to continue to perform together and have shared their music with Eagles Mere audiences since 2012. They view music as a means of storytelling and understand its capacity to bring people together across differences. They intentionally program pieces whose themes and composers span a wide breadth of human experience and look forward to sharing this year’s program with the Eagles Mere community.
