The Teachers’ Lounge (German, 2023)

When an idealistic new teacher’s student is suspected of thefts, she decides to get to the bottom of the matter. By mediating between parents, colleagues, and students, she starts a worsening chain of events and is confronted with the structures of the school system and prejudices. She almost is broken in the process. A discussion follows the showing of the film.
