Bluegrass at the Preserve (Grand Opening)

Amphitheater at the Preserve
Eagles Edge Preserve & Friends of the Arts present Bluegrass music on “The Rocks”, August 3rd – 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Gate opens @ 4:30 pm
Please join us for the first-ever free music concert in the woods at the Preserve Amphitheater, aka “The Rocks” with the Dishonest Fiddlers. The Sweet Shop will have a dinner menu for purchase that includes grilled hot foods and their famous ice cream. Or pack a picnic and bring your own dinner!
The Band-
The ever-popular bluegrass band The Dishonest Fiddlers is a “good time string band” from Northeast PA. They will pick through a mixed bag of folk, bluegrass, and jug band inspired music at this new concert spot in the woods.
Getting there-
It is a 600 ft walk to the Rocks, trail is unpaved so please wear outdoor shoes.
Parking will be available (first come, first served) around Frog Pond (top of Prospect Hill). Car pooling is encouraged.
Golf cart rides will be offered to those needing special assistance.
Don’t want to walk? There will be hay rides leaving Frog Pond Gazebo every 10 mins from 4:45 – 5:45 pm (no transportation available after 5:45 pm)
If there is inclement weather the concert will move to the DeWire Center, check the EMFA web site for last minute details.
What to bring –
Beach chairs or blankets to sit on. There will be very limited seating for the elderly or those with mobility issues.
Cooler, beverages or a picnic dinner
